Offshore Personnel is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established precision engineering company in North Lanarkshire, for an experienced CNC Turner to join its growing team on a permanent basis.

The work spans a diverse range of specialist engineering markets, with a strong focus on oil & gas and military/defence. You will manufacture varied, technically demanding precision components using modern CNC equipment in a quality-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components.
• Work on a varied range of components and projects across specialist engineering industries.
• Produce precision-engineered parts primarily for oil & gas and military/defence clients.
• Read engineering drawings and manufacture high-quality machined components to specification.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency throughout machining processes.
• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet strict quality standards.
• Work with the engineering team to improve processes and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow company health and safety procedures and regulations.

Skills & experience

• Previous CNC turning experience, including setting and programming.
• Experience working with stainless steel, titanium and aluminium.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Experience in precision engineering or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach and a strong interest in precision engineering.
• A strong focus on accuracy, quality and productivity.
