Key Information Document
How a temporary agency worker will be engaged and paid under Offshore Personnel’s direct-PAYE model.
Engagement and payer
Version OP-KID-PAYE-2026-07-26-v1. The intended contract is a contract for services as an agency worker. OFFSHOREPERSONNEL LTD is the employment business and is responsible for paying you. An independent payroll bureau processes PAYE on our instructions; it is not an umbrella company, your hirer or your employer in its own right.
Minimum pay and frequency
The minimum expected gross rate is the applicable National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage. From 1 April 2026 the age-21-and-over rate is £12.71 an hour; age-specific statutory rates apply where lawful. The actual rate is stated for each assignment. Pay is weekly in arrears by bank transfer unless the assignment confirmation says otherwise.
Deductions, fees and benefits
PAYE Income Tax and employee National Insurance are deducted. Student or postgraduate loans, attachment orders and other deductions apply only where legally required. Workplace pension contributions apply if you are enrolled. There are no work-finding fees and no required paid training or service. Statutory rights and any written assignment-specific benefit apply where eligible.
Holiday
You receive at least 5.6 weeks’ paid annual leave, pro-rated. For qualifying irregular-hours or part-year workers, entitlement accrues at 12.07% of hours worked. Holiday pay is paid when leave is taken unless a later document clearly and lawfully states rolled-up holiday pay.
Representative pay example
Illustration only: 37.5 hours at £15.00 gives £562.50 gross. Using tax code 1257L and 2026/27 England, Wales or Northern Ireland weekly thresholds gives estimated PAYE Income Tax of £64.10 and employee National Insurance of £25.64, leaving estimated net pay of £472.76 before any pension, student-loan, attachment or voluntary deduction. Actual take-home pay depends on your circumstances. At 37.5 hours, a qualifying irregular-hours worker also accrues about 4.53 hours of statutory leave.
Changes and help
We issue a revised KID if the payer, payment method, minimum rate, interval, deductions, fees, benefits or holiday method materially changes. This direct-PAYE KID must not be used if an umbrella or other intermediary becomes the employer or payer. Questions can be raised with Offshore Personnel, the Fair Work Agency at [email protected] or 0345 161 6000, or Acas on 0300 123 1100.
