Client terms of business
The baseline terms for verified organisations asking Offshore Personnel to introduce and supply temporary workers.
Appointment and account authority
The verified client appoints OFFSHOREPERSONNEL LTD as an employment business for agreed temporary staffing requirements. The client account owner confirms authority to bind the organisation and must keep hiring, compliance, timesheet and finance permissions current. No worker supply begins until company verification, these terms, a complete requirement and an assignment confirmation are recorded.
Information required from the client
Before introduction or supply, provide the organisation’s identity and business, role and duties, start and expected duration, location, rota or hours, expenses, required experience and authorisations, all known safety risks and controls, induction, supervision and PPE, approvers, billing route and purchase-order details. Notify changes immediately. Recruitment or mobilisation may pause while information is incomplete or a risk is unmanaged.
Candidate packs and checks
Candidate packs are shared only for a defined requirement and may be used only to assess and mobilise that requirement. They exclude bank, next-of-kin, internal-note, full medical and unrelated incident information. Offshore Personnel completes the employment-business identity, right-to-work, willingness and competence checks. The client remains responsible for site facts, role-specific supervision, induction and safe systems of work.
Assignment, charges and invoices
Each assignment confirmation records the worker, role, dates, hours or rota, location, confidential charge rates, time categories, expenses, approvers, safety and competence requirements. Unless stated otherwise, invoices are due within 30 calendar days. VAT is added only when legally chargeable and a valid VAT invoice can be issued. Genuine errors should be disputed promptly; undisputed sums remain due.
Timesheets and worker pay
The named approver must approve or give a reasoned entry-level dispute by the deadline. Approved entries are locked and later corrections use traceable adjustments. A delayed signature or client payment does not allow Offshore Personnel to withhold valid worker pay. We may verify time using reliable alternative evidence and invoice the verified amount.
Worker rights and safety
The client must provide lawful, safe and equal treatment, required facilities and vacancy information, working-time and health-and-safety compliance, and information needed for Agency Workers Regulations rights. Do not place a worker outside the agreed competence, retain identity documents, charge worker recruitment fees or retaliate for a good-faith report. Report worker-impact incidents promptly through the site process and to us.
Direct engagement
No transfer fee arises under this baseline page. A fee can apply only where a separate written assignment schedule agreed before introduction or supply states a compliant calculation, circumstances and time limit and offers the required extended-hire alternative. Nothing restricts a worker from taking employment.
Information, liability and termination
The parties are normally independent controllers for their own recruitment, safety and legal records and must protect shared information. Either may suspend or terminate for material breach, unlawful conduct, insolvency, unmanaged safety risk or serious security failure. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected; any negotiated cap or assignment-specific indemnity must be written. The full controlled terms apply and are governed by the law of England and Wales.
